About Us
Teagoni Tea Farm is a proudly woman-owned and Kenyan-owned tea farm nestled in the scenic hills of Tigoni. Our story begins with our grandparents, who defied the odds during colonial times to become landowners—a bold and rare achievement that laid the foundation for everything we do today.
In 1981, our grandmother took a leap of faith. Without any background in tea farming, she planted 15 acres (6 hectares) of tea and waited patiently for three years until the first harvest in 1984. Her courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment turned a dream into a thriving farm.
Today, Teagoni is still led by our grandmother—very much the boss—and lovingly carried forward by her grandchildren. We are proud to share this land and legacy through immersive tea experiences that celebrate the beauty of Kenyan tea, the power of family, and the stories that grow from the soil.
